Twitter

To receive text messages from TXT3, send follow txt3 to 40404.

Then what?
You’ll receive a text message from twitter asking for a username. Reply with a username and you’re set to receive texts from TXT3.

If I’m already receiving texts from TXT3, do I need to do this?
Yes. We had been paying for a service to send those texts to you. With Twitter, we don’t have to pay, and it will allow us to do some other interesting things. We apologize for the small inconvenience.

How many text messages will I receive per week?
More than one and no more than three. For now. We’ll alert you if that changes.

Will I receive texts from other people?
Only if you visit twitter.com and choose to get more involved on twitter. If the only thing you ever do is “follow txt3″ from your cellphone, then you will only ever receive text updates from TXT3. But, the cool thing is, if you do get more involved, then that means you could connect with other people that are also attending TXT3.

What if I’m already on Twitter?
Then go to www.twitter.com/txt3 and click “follow.” If you want to receive text messages, you have to set up your twitter account with your cell phone number. On your own twitter profile page, click “Settings” in the top right, then the “Devices” tab and follow the instructions.

Facebook and Twitter
For those that are on Facebook, you might like to know that you can integrate your Twitter account with your FB account, meaning that when you update Twitter, it will update your FB status. If you’re signed up on both Twitter and FB, search for “Twitter” in the applications available in FB.

Wait, what’s Twitter?
An easy way for you to stay connected to TXT3 (and other people on Twitter). Receive short text updates on your cellphone or view them online. Still not sure what to make of Twitter? Watch this video.
