Days 15 & 16: Psalm 119:113-128
I am still reading…I promise. But in the words of Jon Lewis, “I got nothing.” Actually, I have really bad allergies and medicine head. I do not have any overwhelmingly awesome thoughts to share, though. Feel free to re-inspire me!

Still with ya, Sista. I’ve been inspired to read the entire Bible over the summer with my older three – it’s an ambitious plan, reading about 15 chapters per day, so we’ll see. Day 1 & 2 of the 90 day plan have ignited good discussions with the kids, “What passage or verse stuck out to you today?” and I was blessed to have the same verse stick out to both Brooke and myself yesterday – where God is speaking to Cain, giving him an opportunity for confession that Cain refuses to take. Gen 4:6-7 “Why are you angry?…if you do well, you’ll be accepted. If not, sin lies at the door, and it’s desire is for you, but you must rule over it.” How often does God give me the chance to confess, and I refuse, thinking I have a right to be angry? Like I have a right to anything…sin always wins in those circumstances…
Anyway – off the topic of Psalms, but still relevant, I thought. I don’t want to be double-minded – I want to fully understand and appreciate His ways. I want to soak up so much of the Word that I’m like a pickle. Soaking up pickle juice so that I’m no longer a cucumber. I hate cucumbers, but I love pickles. Okay, now I think my blood sugar is going low…
